Controlling Anger through a Massage Therapy

There are really times in our life when we just burst out our emotions because we can no longer control, and we simply got carried away with it. We have been angry at some point, and it is either our anger has caused us further trouble or the other way around.  Anger is a normal emotional response to us when we get provoked at some situations or circumstances but when we lose our control, it is then that it becomes unhealthy and certain problems in relationships, family, work and in our life arise. According to studies, physiological changes accompany when we get angry. Our vital signs increase such as our blood pressure, heart and respiratory rate and the rush of our energy hormone sets in.

When was the last time that you got angry? Can you still remember what had happened? How did you manage it? Did it turn good after or not at all?  It is really important that we handle our anger in the most appropriate manner to refrain from us from any undesirable outcomes.

One known way to manage our anger is through the use of a massage. A massage would be a great help because of its relaxing effect that would surely help us get back in control. Deep breathing in combination with rubbing and kneading strokes of the massage aid in soothing our feelings thus, lessening our tension and making us feel much better. Today, massage recliner chairs are made available to help us manage right away our irritations and madness at our homes, and even at the office anytime and anywhere. One thing to do is just sit down on the massage chair and feel relaxed with its very comforting manipulation.  Furthermore, shiatsu massage could also be an option.

It involves the use of the pressure exerted in the fingers to the specific points in our body, such that of an acupressure.  However, there is no need now to go to a therapist for this massage as shiatsu massage chair is present at these times. It offers the same maneuver like that of the therapist’s skilled hands.  The mentioned devices are always available anytime it is needed. These do help minimize our anger and heading us to be at peace and relaxed. We might have just learned that this technique could be applied too in dealing our anger. Managing anger through a massage whether it is of various types and forms is much better and therapeutic at the same time. As our vital signs increase when we are at the peak of our emotions, this therapy is doing the opposite to it. By and by, we are staying calm and thus, slowly decreasing the height of our physiologic rates.  

It is very much important that we always have to remember to not to lose our sense of control, whenever we are set in raging situations then.  An exceedingly hot temper is never a solution to any misunderstandings or conflicts. It just worsens the condition and may further end up to broken relationships.
